April 19, 2006 – According to Mitora a special appearance by Man Faye was made on Tonight with Jay Leno which airs NBC.
Mitora reported: “In a special segment for the Sci-Fi channel, a reporter for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno interviewed Man Faye. Man Faye is the very brave cosplayer who attends Anime Expo in California dressed as Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop.
Man Faye mentioned who he was dressed as, and what show he was from. The show then jumped to a picture of Faye herself for a comparison.
He was there for a comparison and was there for a contest made by the Sci-Fi channel involving super heroes. No other anime cosplayers were spotted in the segment.”
