How to become a member?
To join, fill out the membership application and disclaimer and turn them into a club official. You may also mail the forms to the club.
Is there a membership fee?
No, there is currently no membership fee for any of the chapters.
Is AnEx associated with a school or university?
No, AnEx are an independant organization that runs by the hard work of the officers and members.
Is there an age requirement to join the club?
Yes, to be a member you must meet the minimum age requirements of the club. The age requirement for Eastman, Ga. is 14 years old and the age requirement for Rochester is 21 years old.
Can I visit the club?
Yes, visitors are always welcome. However, we have a limit to how many times you can visit. Visitors are allowed two attend two meetings without joining. After the two visits you are required to join the club by submitting a membership application.
How long are the meetings?
The meetings run an average of 3-4 hours. You can find the exact time of the meetings may vary.
What anime do you watch?
We watch all kinds of anime. Most of the anime we watch are both subbed and dubbed. Note: you will never see hentai, yaoi, or yuri shown at a meeting.
How many people show up at a meeting?
The number of people varies. Currently, we have an attendance average of 15 people of our 35 people membership.
Does AnEx do more than just watch anime?
Yes, we do a lot more than just watch anime. For example, AnEx hosts Game Day where members bring in their video games and do nothing but play games for the entire meeting.
Has the club attended any conventions?
Yes, AnEx has attended Anime Weekend Atlanta and Momo-con many times.
Does the club have a library?
Yes, we do have a library but it is currently closed.
What are the benefits of joining the club?
There are numerous benefits to joining AnEx. The first benefit is to watch anime on a big screen and to enjoy fellowship with other anime fans. AnEx provides all the members access to member’s only area of the website. AnEx also has several benefits provided through anime companies like RightStuf.
